《中国建筑史》是梁思成的重要学术著作之一，也是首部由中国人自己编写的建筑史巨著。梁思成与林徽因等中国营造学社成员，进行长时间的实地考察、测绘，收集、辨别、整理建筑资料，梳理从上古至清末民初的中国建筑传承发展脉络、剖析各时期建筑的形制特征、对比他时他民族与今之异同等，最终完成本书编写，从而奠定中国建筑学由蒙昧进入现代学科的基石。

作者简介：

梁思成（1901-1972），广东新会人，著名建筑学家，中国近代建筑之父。1923年，从清华学校高等科毕业。1927年，获宾夕法尼亚大学建筑学硕士学位，后进入哈佛大学继续深造。1928年回国后，一直从事中国古代建筑的研究和保护，参与中华人民共和国国徽、人民英雄纪念碑等作品设计。此外，积极投身于建筑教育事业，推动中国建筑学的发展，培养了一大批优秀建筑人才。著有《中国雕塑史》《营造法式注释》《清式营造则例》等。

About the Author:
