2021年7月，四川日报全媒体“寻根五千年中华文明  三星堆对话古遗址”大型融媒报道启动，项目组历时4个月、跨越全国7个省、行程上万公里，从三星堆出发，沿长江、黄河两大流域行走。先后走进宝山遗址（陕西）、石峁遗址（陕西）、马家窑遗址（甘肃）、石家河遗址（湖北）、盘龙城遗址（湖北）、凌家滩遗址（安徽）等11处具有代表性的古遗址，采访对话数十位余位考古学者。本书用大量的实地走访资料呈现出三星堆与其他古遗址的内在联系，用大量考古发掘成果为进一步证实中华文明多元一体提供了坚实且丰富的证据。

Introduction:

In July 2021, Sichuan Daily's integrated media project "Tracing the Roots of 5,000-Year-Old Chinese Civilization: Sanxingdui in Dialogue with Ancient Sites" was launched. Over four months, the project team traveled over 10,000 kilometers across seven provinces, following the Yangtze and Yellow River basins from Sanxingdui to visit 11 representative ancient sites including the Baoshan Site (Shaanxi), Shimao Site (Shaanxi), Majiayao Site (Gansu), Shijiahe Site (Hubei), Panlongcheng Site (Hubei), and Lingjiatan Site (Anhui). The team conducted in-depth interviews with dozens of archaeologists. This book presents substantial field research materials demonstrating Sanxingdui's intrinsic connections with other ancient sites, while providing robust archaeological evidence that further confirms the pluralistic unity of Chinese civilization.
