The fist selection of his novel trilogy, Kangba, awards the tenth national ethnic literature writing  novels "Horse Award".

Introduction:  

In 1940s, a story happened on the beautiful Kangba prairie where was the hometown of King Gesar.  Fragment I: On the Xieduoma prairie, the man Gong bu encountered and fell in love with a beautiful  tibetan girl. But he had to travel because he killed a judgment for the judgment's injustice in a horse  racing.  

Fragment II: The man, a lama Tu Erji, was expelled from the temple and chased all the way because  he influenced by Canyangcuo Love Song so that he loved the daughter of chief.  Fragment III: The two desperate men met, deciding to join the Chinese expeditionary forces, playing  different roles in the battle that Gong Bu was very brave but dead in the war, while Tu Erji became  a combat doctor for he cannot kill. After the war, Tu Erji chose to stay at the there. During the 60  years, he lives alone and memory his friend every moment. Because in his heart, his friends has never  gone..... 

The Korean version of this book has published in 2016, which name is The War of that man.
