Sun Jinquan, the honorary director and professor of Sichuan University's Institute of East Asian Studies, the vice-chairman of History Association of Sichuan Province, majors in the history of renaissance, the history of culture communication between the east and the west, the history of economy and culture of European moderation. He published over 20 Chinese and English papers in CSCCIand other publications and Renaissance and Cultural Communication between Eastern and Western. He notes many translations and also collaborates with other authors to write books, including the first series of Chinese Culture and The Japanese Journal of Chinese Culture, etc.
